CURGLAFF

The curglaff* of a shower cold refreshes or so I have been told
But the shock of frigid water on my skin dost cause my head to start to spin
And uncontrollably start to scream as all my body seeks escape from this stream
Of glacial chill and numbing freeze and seek the warmth and comfort please
Of soft and fleecy towels so warm and dry and ask the question, “Oh why, oh why
Did I enter into the liquid shock and stress that leaves me quivering in such duress?

*(Noun – the shock of being plunged or drenched in cold water)
