LALOCHEZIA

There is a certain power in spoken words
And yet that idea dost seem absurd
For aren’t they merely vibrations from the throat
Moving molecules of air like water moves a boat

This power comes from inside our thinking minds
Creating meanings that slowly do unfold and unwind
As contemplation grows and considers connotations
Changing paradigms and sundry permutations

But there are words that go beyond subtle thought
Whose meanings are evident in how they are wrought
Lalochezia is just about as subtle as a four-wheel drive truck
Somewhat like Mickey Mouse shouting out the word #&@$!

*(Noun. – The use of vulgar or foul language to relieve stress or pain.)
