PECCABLE

All of us are totally peccable
Of sin we are certainly capable
Perfection? Why it’s nigh impossible
Just shy of perfect? Even that is improbable

Like a Persian rug with tiny defects
That a discerning eye will surely reject
Or a Raku tea bowl, an imperfect object
And a Wabi-Sabi poem that is …

(Created in the spirit of a Wabi-Sabi philosophy of impermanence, suffering and lack of self-nature.)
