PEREGRINATE

I love to peregrinate all over the wide world
With itineraries, schedules and maps unfurled
Visiting far-flung places all over the globe
Searching for new ports of call in order to probe
But at times I visit my local neighborhood
And do wander about in the mossy woods
To seek the quiet and solace of a secluded nook
And limit my meandering to a murmuring brook
The nemophile within me comes to peace
By staring at the ferns, and flowers and leafy trees.

(Travel or wander around from place to place.)
