PHILSTRUM

There is certain beauty to be found in a symmetrical basis
Like Leonardo’s Vitruvian Man we are split upon a central axis
With two eyes, two nostrils, two breasts, two legs, two feet and two ears
And there are also two grooves, one on the front and one on the rear
On our backside is the glorious and massive gluteus maximus
But on our front is the tiny philstrum sitting on the orbicularis oris.

(The philtrum is the vertical groove between the nose and upper lip. Its appearance is determined genetically.)
