AMBROSIAL

A vernal emboldening
An ephemeral unfolding
An ambrosial artistry
A biological pageantry

The wafting fragrant air
The sumptuous flowery fare
Hymenoptera are sated at last
From their sumptuous repast

Ravenous Lepidoptera chompings
Helping with the growth of their wings
Unfurling when they begin to swell
Out from cocoon and chrysalis shell

Toads and frogs peep out their lust
Driven unbidden from genes they just
Declare their needs not so complex
Engaged in a serious amplexus

Birds from far they do roam
Returning to their native home
Migrating from foreign lands
Inner voices speaking their commands

The pageantry and artistry of Spring
Whether bug or tree or simple wing
Is filled with beauty most sincere
Is replete with nature most austere

(Adj. – belonging to heaven or paradise.)
