Global warming is truly an issue but what about romance novels and libidinous lust?
Surely I divagate, or so you say, but if you really think about it, and you must,
Are they so vastly different with one being core and the other merely crust?
They are about essentially the same thing and that thing is about trust.
Climate change has come from the ignoring of our responsibilities
And forgoing the trust of our generations yet to be born and our sensibilities
Romance novels on the other hand are about love, infatuation and sensitivities
And the trust that is lost and gained over time and the hope of new possibilities.
